About the Event...

Join us for a celebration of the best of local food with Nina Roe at our “Radius Fifteen” Dinner, where even the chef  is from within 15 miles of Fire and Feast!  Enjoy three courses of seasonal produce all sourced within 15 miles of the Fire and Feast Tipi. With each dish, we’ll share the story of the ingredients and how we put together the menu using only the most local, sustainable products.  Suffolk chef Nina Roe combines her talents with the best of local produce to create our first Fire and Feast Radius Fifteen Dinner. We are so excited about this event as local food producers ourselves, this is a treat not to be missed.

Come and join us to discover what is in your local larder and be inspired by Nina’s culinary creativity. The evening will begin with a Smokey Mule Gin Cocktail courtesy of Fisher’s Gin, Aldeburgh, followed by a sit down three course dinner. As with all our special chef events some elements will be served on sharing platters.

Special Dietary requirements: Due to this being a set menu it is more tricky to accommodate special dietary requirements, but if you have a particular question please contact us at judith@fireandfeastsuffolk.co.uk and we will aim to meet your needs if we possibly can.

Introducing Nina Roe - Nina Roe is not only a Suffolk born chef, having spent her childhood in the neighbouring village of Huntingfield, she is, rather appropriately, a radius fifteen chef. Nina has a particular passion to showcase the wonderful produce and ingredients that Suffolk has to offer and given our own passion for local food this is the perfect place for her to show us the best of East Suffolk produce. Nina has spread her culinary wings well beyond Suffolk, honing her cooking skills with Sabrina Ghayour and completing internships at Ottolenghi and Honey & Co. She is also a recipe developer and has had several of her recipes featured in ’The Guardian’. As well as being a chef, Nina is a beekeeper, forager and a keen gardener and creates seasonal, mediterranean inspired vegetable focussed dishes, using produce grown in her kitchen garden and from local growers.  www.hayhaysuffolk.co.uk

Introducing Fishers Gin - Distilled overlooking Aldeburgh’s iconic shingle beach and hand crafted using only the finest selection of local wild herbs and coastal botanicals. Fishers’ botanicals are foraged between the North Sea and the salt marshes of the River Alde. Their collection of Gins uniquely captures the experience and flavours of the Suffolk coast. www.fishersgin.com

A selection of wine, beer and soft drinks, teas and coffee will be available to purchase on the evening.

Please note this event will be held in the Fire and Feast Tipi out of doors. We hope it will be a wonderful summer evening, but we can't guarantee it and it could get a little chilly, so come dressed with some warm layers for later in the evening. This event will go ahead unless weather conditions are extreme.
